Gracyn Sanders, LPC Certified Grief Counselor
Considering therapy and choosing a therapist is a great first step toward change and healing. As a licensed professional counselor and certified grief counselor, Gracyn’s focus is on life transitions and grief in the adult population. She recognizes that grief comes in many forms throughout life. Whether you have found yourself here due to the loss of a relationship, job, sense of self, or death of a family member, friend, pet, etc., it is her mission to be a supportive listener. Gracyn’s hope is to help you identify and understand how grief will fit into your life and combat the many physical and emotional symptoms that occur during the grieving process.
Gracyn is a Conway native who received both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Arkansas. Settings she has worked in include college campuses, inpatient, PHP/IOP, short-term virtual therapy, and long-term outpatient care. While she believes in utilizing the best therapeutic intervention to fit her client’s needs, she frequently applies cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, and attachment therapy.
